I wish I had some of these to put on doors.

And I wish that marketing like this was in athens. It would make for a much cooler city.

I have been reading the book of Joshua this past week and I have been amazed by so many of the things that occurred in the book.

The faith and trust that Joshua has is absolutely incredible.

In Joshua 10 the Lord delivers the Amorites over to Israel.

Then something absolutely amazing happened.

On the day the Lord gave the Amorites over to Israel,
Joshua said to the Lord in the presence of Israel:
“Sun, stand still over Gibeon,
and you, moon, over the Valley of Aijalon.”
So the sun stood still,
and the moon stopped,
till the nation avenged itself on its enemies,
as it is written in the Book of Jashar.
The sun stopped in the middle of the sky
and delayed going down about a full day.
Joshua 10:12-13

Wow. Talk about a sign of Power and Glory.

Joshua is rewarded for His faith and obedience through this act of power.

Joshua went up against armies 10x the size of Israel because of his incredible faith and trust in God to provide.

That is amazing

I want to be like Joshua. God, help me to trust you like he did.

There has never been a day like it before or since,
a day when the Lord listened to a human being.
Surely the Lord was fighting for Israel!
