Such a Clever Short Film
It’s Been a While.
So the last time I wrote a blog post was in April. About that. The past few months have been incredible in many ways, but have sure kept me busy. Lets see, I had my 20th birthday at the beginning of May which was a wonderful day I got to spend with my friends in Athens. Then the spring semester at UGA came to a close a few days later. This past semester has brought with it more challenges, opportunities, and blessings than I could have ever dreamed of. I made some incredible new relationships, was challenged by so many obstacles, and blessed through everything.
At the end of 2010, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time. God was there with us through every step and He has blessed her with a healthy recovery that is nearing the finish line. He has continued to be by our sides as my grandmother went through a quadruple bipass as well. Not only has he blessed me through the health of my family, but through the friends that have been an encouragement to me through it all.
I have the greatest family I could have ever had asked for and they have been the greatest example of Christ’s Love over the past few months. Along with my family, the SPD team at Buckhead Church have been encouraging me the entire time. I am too blessed to know them.
Over the past few months at Buckhead Church, we have had so many people attend our services that we have run out of space in our Waumba Land (Preschool) environment. What an exciting problem to have! With the incredible support of everyone who calls Buckhead Church home, we have nearly funded the construction project that is underway to expand Waumba Land.

He’s Always There. Waiting.
Sometimes I wonder when He will get tired of hearing my stories.
I wonder when He will give up hope on me.
Then I turn and see that His Love for me is unconditional and that He will be there with His arms wide open for my return.
Even when He knows that I will turn my back on Him yet again tomorrow.
He Loves us knowing He will be betrayed time an time again.
That is incredible.
I know its not revolutionary.
Its nothing new, but its powerful.
And whether or not I come through, I can always count on His Love.
