Blogging. A Community.

You know those endless conversations you see etched on the walls of bathroom stalls?

If it can happen there, it can happen here.

Blogging is all about community and expression.

Creating conversations.

Sharing viewpoints, news, creation.

One of the most important things I try to think about when I blog is participation.

Participating first in other blogs.

Then by example looking for participation.

Not something I have been great at in the past, but I’m getting better.

What do you think? Do you blog, if so, is this something you do first?

And most importantly if you blog, whats your blog so I can become part of the community?

True Authenticity

I was reading a post earlier today on TentBlogger that really made a difference in how I read the post.

John Saddington, the author of the post and website, discussed how video blog posts can really close the gap between your online presence and your actual day to day life.

His video made me enjoy the post more, be more interested in it, and decide to try it out on my own blog.

Lets see if I can close that gap between who I am online and who I am in person.

So, in the next few weeks I may be posting a video or two to take a stab at this technique.

First off, thanks to everyone who actually reads my blog.

You guys are awesome. I can’t say it any other way.

Second of all, I will be posting on a few different topics as usual:

-One coming up is a review of the book The Reason for God by Timothy Keller

If there is anything you would like me to write about, please be sure to comment or send me an email!

Thanks again for your support.

Pano – iPhone App

I took this earlier today with my iPhone 4 using a nifty little app called Pano.

It merges as many pictures as you take in a row together to create a panorama that can turn out to be pretty cool.

I used it in a abnormal way to take a vertical panorama, but you can do either.

If you like photography, its a must have.

Then again it is $2.99, luckily I got it when it was on sale for $0.99!

Oh yeah and that’s my roomate Lee Newton.

In Awe

This past week I havent been focusing on the right things.

For some reason my focus has strayed from the only important thing in this world, Christ.

Yet He doesn’t give up on me.

Instead, he tried to get my attention through His marvelous creations.

And He did. I was blown away this week by the beauty of the sky.

Whether it was rain, storms, or just the beautiful weather with the sun shining, I was amazed.

Luckily, I have a nice camera on my iPhone, so I decided to pull over and take a few pictures most of the times.

Check it out:

I am so thankful that I have a God that doesn’t give up on me, but instead keeps fighting for me.
